Firstly, open your EndNote Library.
Sign in to One Search and run a search as normal. If unsure, see our One Search guide.
To export an individual item:
- From the list of results, click the title to display the edit, or 'Send to', options.
- Select the 'Export RIS' icon to add the item details to your EndNote library.
- A pop-up 'Encoding' window will appear. Select 'UTF-8' then 'Download'.
- In some browsers, the file window will appear at the bottom of the screen. Choose 'Open File' to activate the export.
- Your EndNote library will now display the selected item.
Note: there may be some duplication so you may need to edit the EndNote record.
To export multiple items,
- Add each relevant item to your 'My Favourites' list - click the pin icon next to the item.
- Go to your 'My Favourites' (Marked list) - Select the Pin icon on the menu bar.
- Select either the individual relevant items, or check the 'Select all' box.
- On the 'My Favourites' heading bar, select the three dots icon.
- Select the 'Export-RIS' icon and follow steps 3, 4 and 5 above.
