Throughout the week, the University of the West of Scotland #AcWriMo sessions provided a comprehensive exploration of essential aspects in academic writing and research. Topics included collaborative writing in higher education, constructing effective search queries, Open Access publishing, leveraging research data analysis tools like SCOPUS and SciVal, and effective communication of research impact through the media. The sessions collectively offered valuable insights into collaborative writing processes, literature searching strategies, the benefits of Open Access, optimal use of research data tools, and impactful communication in academia.
