How do I attend?

Register Online - you will need to log in with your UWS e-mail address and password to access the form. If you are accessing this from a work PC, you may need to log out of your work Office account to view the form.

The Zoom link to join this session will appear on the registration confirmation screen if you wish to copy and paste it into your online calendar. We will also send a reminder email containing the Zoom link nearer the time.

This session is for anyone who would like to improve their searching skills for journal articles and learn what kind of research databases we have and how to use them more effectively.

 

What will the session cover?

This 45-minute session will cover:

  • Why databases are a useful source for your assignments
  • Advice on planning a search
  • Advice for getting the most out of your database searches using keywords, Boolean operators and limits
