EndNote Online

Search Emerald Insight as usual. If unsure, see our Emerald Insight guide.

From the results list,

1. Select the relevant record - click the title.
2. The 'Citation' entry will display after the abstract and keywords.  Select the 'Download as .ris' option.
3. In some browsers your records will be downloaded in a file displayed at the bottom of your screen. If so, leave alone for now.  If asked to 'Open' or 'Save' the file, choose 'Save'.
4. Go to EndNote Online,
5. Select the 'Collect' tab.
6. Select 'Import References'.
7. A popup window will display with an option to browse files:
   Choose the relevant .enw file (from your downloads folder).
8. Select the 'EndNote Import' filter from the dropdown menu.
9. Select the relevant destination group.
10. Select 'Import'.
