Module Resource Lists - for students: An introduction

What is a Module Resource List?

A Module Resource List gives you a single source for accessing all, or some, of the resources mentioned in, or supporting, a specific module.  The items listed can include sources that are required reading, are strongly recommended or suggested as supplementary items.

Commonly appearing items are:

  • Textbooks - access to an entire book, or a specific chapter of a book to give you an overview or theoretical background to a topic
  • Journal articles - links to the full text of topical discussions or research studies on specific aspects of a topic
  • Websites or online documents - links to documents or organisational websites providing guidance or practical support or information
  • Videos - internal or external 'how to' or other recommendations.

Why would I use the Module Resource List rather than direct links in my module?

The Module Resource List gives you a single source of access to the listed items - no need to have multiple windows open.

How do I access the Module Resource Lists for my modules?

There are several ways by which you can access the Module Resource Lists:

  1. Select the 'Module Resource Lists' tile in the UWS Student app - access is activated once you enrol.
  2. Follow any links your lecturers have enabled in Aula or other learning management system.
  3. Login to the Module Resource Lists platform
